2013 in review

2013 was an amazing year! We had watched Porter grow from a toddler to a little boy and announced that we would be adding a little girl to our family. We were both working in Soda Springs and enjoying our jobs. Life has been good and we have been blessed!

Natalie and Jessica came to visit and we made cookies.

Mom + Me + Fabric= cute bag

My mother is very talented. We decided to take on a sewing project with me as her apprentice. We had fun and I learned lots. The diaper bag turned out better than we thought. I love it! and I love my mom! Thanks mom for taking the time to teach me!

Summer 2012

The summer has completely flown right by. We have been so busy, waving at each other as we pass each other going to work. The summer started off with two new jobs and moving to Caribou county. Spencer started working for Soda Springs police department and I for Portneuf Medical Center. We were both working full time and had an awesome babysitter for Porter (Grandma)!
Between work we hung out with family. My parents had kids over everyday this summer and it has been extremely wild. We also spent time in Twin Falls for the Hughes reunion. I knew that we would miss the crazy Hughes clan, but I cannot believe how much we miss Twin Falls.
Porter also turned one this summer. He has grown so much. He is now walking and rarely crawls. He can talk up a storm and even says "lucky" (our dog's name). We sure love this little boy!
Now that the summer is almost over, we are moving into a house (renting) and I will be cutting back on work and starting online classes.
Although we will still be busy, we are hoping for things to slow down.
Here are a few pics from this summer!

Memorial weekend

Memorial weeked was full rain and family. There were Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandpas, Grandmas, and more. We were stuffed in the house till the last day of the 3-day weekend when the rain stopped. Everyone hurried out to get on the bikes before they had to leave. Besides the rain and hanging out in a tight house, the boys work on the windows in the basement. They did a great job! We have great family!

Welcome Home Elder Hughes

Nathan returned from his mission after serving in the Peru for two years. Everyone was excited to see him and we are glad that he made it home safely.

9 months

Porter had his 9 month appointment today! His stats may be average but he is no average boy! He is in the 50th percentile for his height and weight and as healthy as can be. This little guy seriously cannot stop moving. He is still army crawling everywhere, but he can really move. I love it when I come home and he comes crawling as fast as he can to me! I love my little man!
